Outdoor Nature Workshop

The Piie School is a faith-based Christian preschool and nursery located in the Crouch Hill area, committed to providing high-quality early years education in a nurturing, loving, and inclusive environment. Guided by Christian values and open to children of all backgrounds, we aim to support every child to grow with confidence, curiosity, kindness, and a strong sense of purpose.

Founded by Ama Asamoah, The Piie School was established with a clear vision: to offer an exceptional standard of early years education—combining academic foundations, creative enrichment, life skills, and character formation—while remaining accessible to families within the local community. We believe that every child is uniquely created, full of potential, and deserving of the very best start in life.

Our Approach

At The Piie School, we recognise that the early years are a crucial time for learning, personal growth, and character development. Our approach focuses on nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—within a safe, secure, and supportive environment. We provide consistent routines, caring practitioners, and meaningful learning experiences to help children feel settled, valued, and confident as they explore the world around them.

We place great importance on building strong partnerships with parents and carers, working together to support each child’s individual needs and celebrate their achievements. This collaborative approach ensures that each child’s learning journey is carefully guided, monitored, and celebrated.

OUR CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and encourages children to develop skills across all areas of learning:

  • Early Literacy and Numeracy: Play-based activities that build foundational reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

  • Creative Expression: Arts, crafts, music, and imaginative play to spark curiosity and develop confidence.

  • Physical Development: Outdoor play, movement, and physical activities that promote coordination, resilience, and healthy habits.

  • Life Skills & Independence: Everyday routines, cooking, and practical activities that support problem-solving, independence, and self-confidence.

  • Values & Faith: Age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, prayer, and positive role modelling help children develop strong moral foundations, kindness, and respect for others.

OUR ETHOS

Christian values are at the heart of everything we do at The Piie School. Through our daily interactions, learning experiences, and structured activities, children are encouraged to develop not only academic skills but also character traits such as compassion, honesty, patience, and resilience. We celebrate each child’s individuality, encouraging them to explore their interests and talents in a safe, supportive environment.

We believe that learning should be joyful, purposeful, and meaningful. By combining structured learning with play, exploration, and creative opportunities, we nurture a lifelong love for learning while fostering confidence, independence, and a sense of responsibility.

A Safe and Nurturing Environment

The Piie School provides a calm, secure, and welcoming setting where children feel supported every step of the way. Our experienced and caring practitioners ensure that each child receives the guidance, encouragement, and attention they need to flourish. We take pride in creating an environment where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and grow into confident, capable, and kind individuals.

The Piie School is more than a preschool; it is a community where children, families, and practitioners come together to celebrate learning, faith, and growth. Our mission is to give every child the best possible start in life—equipping them with the skills, values, and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

At The Piie School, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child is valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive. We are committed to supporting the development of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—through a holistic approach that combines high-quality early years education, character development, and faith-based guidance.

We aim to foster a love of learning from the very start, building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, creativity, and critical thinking, while nurturing curiosity, independence, and resilience. Alongside academic development, we emphasise life skills, social-emotional growth, and positive relationships, ensuring children are equipped to navigate the world with confidence and compassion.

Rooted in Christian values, our mission is also to nurture moral character, kindness, and a sense of purpose. We encourage children to grow in confidence, respect for others, and understanding of the world around them, while celebrating their individuality and unique potential. At The Piie School, we believe that every child deserves a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning, faith, and meaningful contribution to their community.

Our vision is to be a leading early years setting in the Crouch Hill area, recognised for excellence in education, character formation, and spiritual development. We aspire to create a community where children, families, and practitioners come together to celebrate learning, faith, and growth.

We envision a school where children are inspired to explore, ask questions, and discover their passions in a supportive, faith-informed environment. By nurturing curiosity, resilience, and confidence, we aim to equip every child with the skills, values, and mindset they need to thrive not only in school but in life beyond.

Through our holistic approach, we hope to cultivate lifelong learners who are kind, compassionate, morally grounded, and socially responsible. Our vision is for The Piie School to be a place where every child feels safe, empowered, and motivated to realise their full potential, guided by a strong sense of purpose and Christian values.
